Summit Ridge Neighborhood's 1st Annual BBQ

Today we had our first community barbeque, which was a lot of fun. There were about 120 people who showed up for the event. Mommy is on the Social Committee for our neighborhood of 135 homes, and helped to put it on. Of course, she wouldn't have been able to help without Daddy, because he took such good care of me today so that she could do other things. Mommy & Daddy make a great team!

"Uncle" Steve's Birthday - September 9, 2007

We were happy to be able to celebrate Siena's godfather's (we call him "Uncle" Steve...she has another Uncle Steve, as well...) birthday last weekend. Doesn't it look like Siena can't wait to have her own birthday cake? :)

Visits to Florence - September 2007

Siena and Mommy traveled to Florence, Oregon to spend time with our family twice in the first couple of weeks of September. We had family from many locations there to see Siena's Great-Grandpa Braley one last time. It was good to be with family, although it was a sad time to see someone we love in his last days. We did get out to enjoy the beautiful weather and one another's company a couple of times.

Great-Grandpa Braley passed away early on September 12th. We are all so sad to have lost him, but we were so lucky to have so many years with him. He was 92 years old.
