More friends visit

Siena and Mommy were fortunate enough to have two of Mommy's former students, Sam & Eleanor, as well as their mom, MaryBeth, over for a visit today. It was fun to catch up on everything that they've been up to, and to have them spend some time with our Siena. She absolutely LOVED them, can't you tell?!

Here Siena is playing with a toy that is new to her...a piano. (Thanks, Chloe, for loaning it to us!) Doesn't she look like a pro?!

We decided to enjoy our little front yard on an August evening. Siena enjoyed watching the older neighbor kids playing out on the street, while Mommy enjoyed visiting with some of their parents. We live on a GREAT dead end street with lots of families with young kids. We're pretty lucky to be where we are!

A trip to the Oregon Zoo - August 19, 2007

Daddy went for the first time to the zoo with Siena and Mommy. It was Siena's first time taking the Zoo Train. She loved it!

Siena and Vickie - August 18, 2007

Here Siena is with her friend, next door neighbor, and babysitter, Vickie. It's so great having such a wonderful babysitter right next door!

Visit to Florence - August 12-15, 2007

Siena and Mommy took a trip down to Florence to visit Great-Grandpa Braley, as well as Grandma and Grandpa Braley. While we were there we went blueberry picking and to the beach. (It was a very foggy day...we could hardly see the water until we were right up to it.) Siena also got a new toy to play with from her grandparents. It was a nice visit.

A visit from a friend

Today we had our friends, Kirstin and Clara, over for lunch. It was cute how excited Clara was about Siena. Here is a picture of the two little friends. Kirstin sewed 3 beautiful (and useful!) bibs for Siena. You can see one of them on her in the photo.
